Can-Am uses two key systems: Spyder roadsters and Ryker three-wheelers use BRP's transponder immobilizer (programmed on-site with dealer-grade equipment); Maverick and Defender side-by-sides plus Outlander and Renegade ATVs typically use mechanical ignition keys. The Spyder F3 and RT in particular are common service calls across our markets.

Can-Am motorcycle key pricing.
Mechanical / regular keys are flat-rate. Programmed keys (transponder, smart key, push-to-start) and all-keys-lost vary too much by year, model, and immobilizer system to publish a fixed range — quoted by phone before dispatch.

Common Can-Am questions.
Do you handle Spyder F3 or RT immobilizer keys?
Yes — Spyder F3 and RT use BRP transponder immobilizer. Programmed on-site, typical 45–75 minutes.
Ryker — same as Spyder?
Similar — Ryker also uses BRP transponder. Slightly different fob design but same programming approach.
Maverick X3 side-by-side — programming required?
No — most Maverick side-by-sides use mechanical ignition keys. $185–$250 flat-rate, cut on-site.
Outlander or Renegade ATV — easier?
Yes. ATV ignitions are mechanical. Standard cut-on-site work.
