Honda motorcycle key replacement & programming.
Lost your Honda key, broken it in the ignition, or need a programmed spare? We come to you — driveway, parking lot, dealership lot, marina (for watercraft) — and cut and program your replacement key on-site. Honda is the highest-volume Japanese motorcycle brand we service — CBR, CB, Goldwing, Africa Twin, Shadow, Rebel. Family-owned with dealer-grade equipment in every truck since 2007.
What's specific about Honda keys.
Honda motorcycles split between two key systems: older CB and Shadow models use simple mechanical ignition keys (cut on-site for $185–$250 flat); modern Honda sport bikes (CBR, CB), the Goldwing, and Africa Twin use the HISS (Honda Ignition Security System) immobilizer — a transponder chip programmed to the ECU. We program HISS keys on-site without dealer involvement. The current Goldwing also uses Smart Key proximity / keyless-start (premium trims).
Honda models we service most.
Coverage typically extends across the full Honda lineup. If your model isn't listed, call us — we likely cover it.
Honda motorcycle key pricing.
Mechanical / regular keys are flat-rate. Programmed keys (transponder, smart key, push-to-start) and all-keys-lost vary too much by year, model, and immobilizer system to publish a fixed range — quoted by phone before dispatch.
Whatever we quote on the phone is what you pay on arrival — key blank, cutting, on-site programming, dispatch all included. For the full motorcycle-services overview see the /motorcycle-keys parent page.
Common Honda questions.
What's HISS and does my Honda have it?
HISS is the Honda Ignition Security System — an immobilizer with transponder keys, introduced gradually starting in the late 1990s. Most modern CBR, CB, Goldwing, and Africa Twin have HISS. Older Shadow, Rebel, and entry-level models often don't. We confirm by year and model when you call.
Can you do a Goldwing smart key on-site?
Yes — current Goldwing (2018+) Tour trims use Honda Smart Key with proximity start. Programmed on-site. Older Goldwings use HISS transponder keys.
Africa Twin lost-key on a remote trail — possible?
Yes within our service area. We come to where the bike is parked. Africa Twin uses HISS, programmed on-site. Need year, VIN, and proof of ownership.
Older Honda Shadow without an immobilizer — easier?
Yes. Older Shadows (1990s–2000s) use simple mechanical ignition keys. $185–$250 flat-rate, cut on-site, no programming step.
