What's specific about Zero Motorcycles keys.
Zero Motorcycles use mechanical ignition keys on most current and recent models, with electronic anti-theft as a separate ECU-managed layer. Older Zero models (pre-2020) used simpler mechanical ignitions. Programming for the electronic anti-theft layer is integrated through the bike's onboard system rather than a traditional transponder — we coordinate the mechanical key cut with the anti-theft pairing on-site for most models.
Zero Motorcycles models we service most.
Coverage typically extends across the full Zero Motorcycles lineup. If your model isn't listed, call us — we likely cover it.
Zero Motorcycles motorcycle key pricing.
Mechanical / regular keys are flat-rate. Programmed keys (transponder, smart key, push-to-start) and all-keys-lost vary too much by year, model, and immobilizer system to publish a fixed range — quoted by phone before dispatch.
Whatever we quote on the phone is what you pay on arrival — key blank, cutting, on-site programming, dispatch all included. For the full motorcycle-services overview see the /motorcycle-keys parent page.
Common Zero Motorcycles questions.
Can you do a Zero Motorcycles key on-site?
Yes — current Zero models use mechanical ignition keys with separate electronic anti-theft. We cut the key on-site and walk through the anti-theft re-pairing on the bike's onboard system. Quoted by phone.
SR/F or SR/S — most common?
Yes — SR/F and SR/S are the most common Zero calls. Same approach for both.
FX or DSR (the dual-sport models) — different?
Same mechanical-key plus electronic anti-theft approach. Same equipment we use for the SR-series.
Older Zero models (pre-2020) — easier?
Yes. Older Zeros use simpler mechanical ignition without the electronic anti-theft layer. Standard cut-on-site work.
