Most generic locksmiths can't program Jaguar — different brands run different immobilizer architectures and require platform-specific equipment. Jaguar's system has evolved across multiple generations, and each one changes what's possible. Find your model below.

Jaguar runs on the JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) keyless platform, sharing equipment requirements with Land Rover and Range Rover. The current generation uses the JLR Keyless Vehicle System (KVS) with proximity entry, push-to-start, and the optional Activity Key wristband on premium trims. The Activity Key is a sealed-band wearable (waterproof, no buttons) — we support full Activity Key replacement and pairing along with standard fob work. Beyond keys, we also program JLR control modules (ECU, transmission, RFH) when those need to be replaced or paired. Jaguar fob casings: the chrome-bordered current fob (F-Pace / E-Pace / I-Pace), the older XF/XK 'tear-drop' fob, and the previous-generation push-button fob. Common Jaguar gotcha: I-Pace EV uses the same JLR KVS but with EV-specific 12V battery management — repeated key faults often trace to a marginal 12V battery rather than the key itself. We test 12V first on EV Jaguars before quoting key work. Blade cuts: HU101 across most modern Jaguar.

Why is my Jaguar F-Pace key not working?

Most common: dead fob battery, fob desync after a 12V battery service, or a failing JLR keyless module. We diagnose on-site before quoting a new key — a new key won't fix a module fault.

Can a locksmith really do all-keys-lost on a Jaguar?

Yes. Most current Jaguars (F-Pace, E-Pace, I-Pace, XE, XF, F-Type) are within our JLR equipment coverage. Bring proof of ownership and VIN; we cut and program on-site in 30–60 minutes.

Why is my Jaguar Activity Key not pairing?
